Roger Clay, Minister (ret.) Denver First Church; Speaker, Writer and Consultant
Roger began his ministry as a youth and music pastor traveling for Denver First Church each summer with a 100-voice church high school choir and band called “The TACT Singers” (like a Christian “Up With People”). As founder and director he led the group across the nation, Canada, Hawaii, and Mexico, singing and playing in schools and churches and at community events and military bases for audiences ranging from 100 to over 30,000.

Traveling by chartered buses or planes, the group was privileged to film with the “Hawaii Five-0” crew in Hawaii, represent the United States in Canada for the 200th bicentennial, sing for 20 Denver high school assemblies, do seven recording projects, and were featured weekly on “A Reason to Sing” television broadcast locally and nationally.

Roger then took on the assignment as Executive Pastor of Denver First Church (Church of the Nazarene). His oversight of 14 ministers and ministries, media production, weekly TV show producer of “ Sunday in the Rockies,” host of cruises, assistance with missions trips, and production of the Saturday Nights In Denver concert series of nationally known Christian artists has exposed him to several aspects of faith-based travel. Roger and his wife Marilyn have hosted religious group trips over the years.
